We have over 15 years experience of helping Social Care and other businesses to develop their activities, and to be more focussed and goal oriented. This can include:
- An initial meeting - can we work together?
- Analysing strengths, development areas and challenges
- Development of marketing, communication and promotional activities
- Agreeing and putting in place changes to the business plan
Workforce Development
Penn Consultants is an accredited provider to Skills for Care and Development, one of 24 Sector Skills Councils in England that provides workforce development support to over 85% of the population. This work includes:
- The development and management of major contracts
- Advice on National Minimum Standards
- National Minimum Dataset
- Investors in People, Training Plans, NVQs and related courses
Fund Management
Over the last 4 years Penn Consultants have project managed over £1,500,000 of funding to support Social Care and NHS employers.
In the current year ( 2008 / 2009 ) approximately £300,000 is available to support social Care NVQs and the Common Induction Standards. See the TSI Funding section of this web site.
Building and Supporting networks
For the last 7 years we have provided active support and development to the North West London Consortium. This is a Social Care employer network of over 800 primary employer contacts with an additional 300 other contacts covering 8 London Boroughs.
- Formal funding bids are undertaken to gain additional support
- Employer support is provided by web site / e mail / letter / newsletter and telephone
- The work is overseen and managed by a Board of approx 10 employers
Network events and partnership working
Over the last 7 years we have planned , organised, run and hosted 48 employer network events attended by over 3000 delegates.
We work closely with employers, Local Authorities, Awarding Bodies, the Commission for Social Care Inspection, Learning & Skills Councils, Training providers and the NHS.
